Rear-Admiral Edward Bernard Cornish Dicken, O.B.E., D.S.C., R.N. (18 January, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dicken was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1909. He became a fluent speaker of French.


Dicken was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1922.

Dicken was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1929.

World War II

Dicken was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 25 June, 1940.
