Douglas George Jeffrey ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Jeffrey was tried by a two-day Court Martial in February, 1914 and was severely reprimanded for having hazarded the armoured cruiser King Alfred in a collision with the Spanish steamer Umbre which sank the other ship.[1][2]
