Commander (retired) Donald Cecil Granville Neish, O.B.E. (5 December, 1894 – 25 March, 1949) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of William Darley Neish, Esq., a medical officer in the Civil Service in Jamaica.

In March 1915 he was reported as sick. In November/December 1915 he was hospitalised with gonorrhea and rheumatism.

Neish was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1916. This was adjusted to 15 June.

Neish was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1924.

In 1930 he was again suffering from rheumatism.

Neish was promoted to the rank of Commander on 17 February, 1937.
