Captain Cyril Peel, R.N. (8 July, 1876 – 8 November, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Corwall.

Peel was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in May, 1898.

Peel was promoted to the rank of Commander in June, 1909.

Peel was promoted to the rank of Captain in November, 1916.

Peel was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Amphitrite in March, 1918.

Peel was admitted to hospital with influenza on 3 November, 1918 and died of pneumonia on 8 November, 1918.
