Admiral Cuthbert Edward Hunter, Royal Navy, Retired (1 March or 10 March, 1866 – 30 April, 1952) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Hunter was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1900.[1]

Captain

Nicholson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1905.[2]

On 25 January, 1910, Hunter was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Roxburgh.[3]

Great War

Hunter was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 3 April, 1917, vice Luard.[4] He was placed on the Retired List on 17 April, at his own request. was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 27 April, 1917.[5]
