Claude Lindesay Bate ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bate was appointed in command of the destroyer Cygnet on 16 July, 1912.[1]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Staunch on 16 December, 1913.[2]
Bate commanded the destroyer Michael of the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[3]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Vivacious on 4 December, 1917.[4]
