Claude Lindesay Bate

Captain Claude Lindesay Bate, D.S.O., R.N. (25 February, 1883 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bate was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1905.[1]
Bate was appointed in command of the destroyer Cygnet on 16 July, 1912.[2]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Staunch on 16 December, 1913.[3]
Great War
Bate commanded the destroyer Michael of the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[4]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Vivacious on 4 December, 1917.[5]
