Captain Claude Alwin Rombulow-Pearse, C.B.E., R.N. (10 May, 1875 – 6 August, 1931) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Little Parndon, Essex.
Rombulow-Pearse was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1897.
Rombulow-Pearse was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1909.
Rombulow-Pearse was appointed in command of the armed boarding steamer Fauvette from 19 March 1915 to April 1915 when he was appointed by the Vice-Admiral to command the armed merchant cruiser Osiris, which would soon be renamed Osiris II.
Rombulow-Pearse was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1917.
Rombulow-Pearse was appointed in command of the hired yacht Valhalla II from 13 March 1918 to 31 March, 1918, when he was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Europa.
Placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 7 June, 1920.
