Claud Hamilton Sinclair ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

As a Lieutenant, he was mentioned in despatches during the Boxer Rebellion.

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1916.

In August 1916, he assumed command of the scout cruiser Bellona.[1]

In February 1917, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Caledon.[2]

He was appointed command of the light cruiser Cardiff on 11 July, 1917.[3]

He was placed on the retired list on 2 July, 1922.
