Charles John Houssemayne Du Boulay

Commander Charles John Houssemayne Du Boulay, R.N., Retired (20 April, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Retired Colonel W. G. Du Boulay, Royal Engineers. His older brother, Ernest also served in the navy.

Du Boulay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1915.

Post-War

Du Boulay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1923.

Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 April, 1931.

Du Boulay was promoted to the rank of Commander on 20 April, 1934.

Du Boulay was appointed to the destroyer Falcon on 29 July, 1914.[1] On 28 October he assumed command of the Falcon when Lieutenant Hubert Osmond Wauton was killed in action.[2] He was relieved on the 31st.
