Charles Henry Lawrence Woodhouse

Admiral Charles Henry Lawrence Woodhouse, C.B., K.C.B. (9 July, 1893 – 23 September, 1978) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1915.[1]
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1923.[2]
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1927.[3]
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1934.[4]
Woodhouse was appointed captain of the cruiser Ajax on 9 October, 1937.[5]
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 1944.[6]
Woodhouse was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 21 January, 1948.[7]
He retired on 15 August, 1950 and was promoted to the rank of Admiral (retired) on 26 January, 1952.[8]
