Captain Charles Frederic Roy Cowan, D.S.O., R.N., Retired (17 September, 1883 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Captain W. F. Cowan.
Cowan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1905.[1]
Cowan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1913.
Cowan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.
Post-War
Cowan was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 22 August, 1922.
Cowan was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 17 September, 1928.
World War II
Mobilised 26 September, 1938.
