Vice-Admiral SIR Charles Douglas Carpendale, K.C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (18 October, 1874 – 21 March, 1968) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

On the occasion of the King's birthday he was appointed an Additional Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 3 June, 1918.[1]

He was Captain of Benbow sometime late in the war or in the early postwar period.[Citation needed][Fact Check]
