Captain (retired) Cecil Frederick Oldham, R.N. (15 April, 1852 – 13 October, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Oldham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 18 December, 1872.

Appointed in command of survey schooner Sparrowhawk from 1 August, 1885 to 2 December, 1886.

Oldham was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1885.

Oldham was retired at his own request with the rank of Captain on 6 June, 1901. He continued to work as a Naval Assistant to the Hydrographer until being relieved at his own request on 4 September, 1904.
