Vice-Admiral Bertram Chalmers Watson, C.B., D.S.O., Royal Navy (20 March, 1887 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Watson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1908.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1916.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1918.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1925.
Watson was appointed in command of the light cruiser Curlew in July, 1932.
In August, 1933, he was appointed in command of the battleship Valiant.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 23 July, 1936.
Watson was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 4 May, 1940.
