Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Benjamin Titheridge, M.V.O., R.N. (26 June, 1857 – 23 January, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Titheridge was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 20 March, 1885.

Titheridge was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 20 February, 1904.

Titheridge was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1909.

He was placed on the Retired List 26 June, 1912.[Fact Check]

Titheridge was granted the acting rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1917.

Titheridge was appointed to the third class protected cruiser H.M.S. Pomone, which was by then a harbour service vessel in Dartmouth, on 2 August, 1914. He died in England in early 1918.
