Rear-Admiral Basil Vernon Brooke (9 March, 1876 – 11 December, 1945) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brooke was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1916.
In October 1916, he assumed command of the scout cruiser Blonde.[1]
He was appointed command of the light cruiser Southampton on 15 February, 1917.[2]
