Admiral Arthur Hayes-Sadler, C.S.I., Royal Navy, Retired (9 October, 1863 – 9 February, 1952) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Hayes-Sadler was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1886.[1]

Hayes-Sadler was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1899.[2]

Captain

Hayes-Sadler was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1904.[3]

He was appointed in command of H.M.S. Drake, and as Flag Captain, on 15 February, 1907.[4]

Hayes-Sadler was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 19 July, 1915, vice Clarke.[5]

Rear-Admiral Cecil F. Lambert was appointed to succeed Hayes-Sadler on 24 February.[6]

Post-War

Hayes-Sadler was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 3 November, 1919, vice Smith.[7] He was placed on the Retired List on 17 February, 1920,[8] and was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 1 August, 1924.[9]
