Arthur Beswick

Lieutenant R.N.R. (temporary) Arthur Beswick (28 October, 1886 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Born in Besboro, Blackrock, County Cork.[1]

Beswick was promoted to the rank of Temporary Sub-Lieutenant R.N.R. on 24 March, 1915.[2]

Beswick was promoted to the rank of Temporary Acting Lieutenant R.N.R. on 5 Juner, 1915.[3]

Beswick was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 24 March, 1917.[4]

Beswick was appointed to the destroyer Vigilant on 29 October, 1917 and would be re-appointed in command of the ship on 18 January, 1919.[5][6]
