Alfred Edward Hay Marescaux

Captain (retired) Alfred Edward Hay Marescaux, (4 February, 1866 – 4 October, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Edinburgh, the son of Commander Alfred Marescaux.[1]

Marescaux was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1890.[2]

Marescaux was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 24 February, 1909.[3]

In recognition of his wartime service, Marescaux was promoted to the rank of Captain with seniority of 11 November, 1918.[4]
