Lieutenant (supplementary) Alfred Edgar, R.N. (5 October, 1881 – 1 November, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Edgar entered the service at the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1913.

Edgar was appointed to the armoured cruiser Monmouth in August 1914 and would die in her when she was lost at the Battle of Coronel on 1 November, 1914.
