Commander Alfred Barnett Barker, (11 November, 1874 – 8 August, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a Major Barker.

Barker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1896.

Barker was promoted to the rank of Commander on 39 June, 1907.

Barker was appointed in command of the armed yacht Imogene on 23 August, 1910. He was superseded in command on 25 May, 1911.

Barker was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 2 June, 1920.

he died at Guy's Hospital, leaving a widow.
