Alexander Maitland Donovan

Lieutenant-Commander Alexander Maitland Donovan, D.S.C., R.N. (7 May, 1892 – 20 April, 1932) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Donovan was promoted to Sub-Lieutenant on 15 November, 1912.[1]
Donovan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1914.
Donovan was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 3 on 1 January, 1918.[2]
Donovan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1922.
Donovan died while in command of Vanoc and was buried in Haslar Royal Naval Cemetery.
