Admiral Albert Baldwin Jenkings, Royal Navy (2 March, 1846 – 5 October, 1942) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jenkings was appointed Commander of the turret ship Inflexible on 4 March, 1881, under Captain John A. Fisher.[1]

On 7 August, 1882, he was specially promoted to the rank of Captain, dated 11 July.[2]

Flag Rank

Jenkings was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 11 December, 1897, vice Buckle.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral dated 21 January, 1903, vice Markham.[4]

Jenkings was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 1 January, 1907.[5] In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 8 December, 1903, he was placed on the Retired List, at his own request, on 1 June.[6]
