Sydney William Floyd Bennetts

Commander (retired) Sydney William Floyd Bennetts, D.S.O., D.S.C. (15 December, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Bennetts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1926.[1]

Bennetts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1934.[2]

Bennetts was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 15 December, 1948.[3]
