Ronald Edward Hutchins

Lieutenant-Commander Ronald Edward Hutchins, D.S.C. (7 January, 1912 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Hutchins was awarded the Goodenough Medal for being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination for the year and who also achieved a first-class certificate in seamanship.

Hutchins was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1935.[1]

Hutchins was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1943.[2]
