Captain (retired) Robert Frederick Thom, (17 June, 1862 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Thom entered the service with the rank of Lieutenant on 31 October, 1895.

Thom retired with a step in rank to Commander on 17 June, 1907.

Reverted to the Retired List on 4 November, 1919.

Thom was subsequently promoted to the rank of Captain in recognition of war service with seniority of 11 November, 1918.
