Vice-Admiral (retired) Richard Benyon, (18 January, 1892 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Benyon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August, 1914.

Benyon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August, 1922.

Benyon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1927.

Benyon was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1934.

Benyon was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 January, 1944.

Benyon was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Vice-Admiral on 21 January, 1948.
