Commander (retired) Norman Angel Kyrle Money, O.B.E., D.S.C., R.N. (5 March, 1884 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Slough.

In August 1905, Captain Kingsmill of the battleship Majestic opined that Money "requires ballast." I am unsure what this means. Nonetheless, Money was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1905.[1]

He was admitted to Chatham Naval Hospital after fracturing his right fibula on 23 November, 1912. He was expected to require four weeks to mend.[2]

Money was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1913.[3]

Money was appointed in command of the destroyer Acorn on 21 October, 1913.[4]

Money was promoted to the rank of Commander on 4 April, 1925.[5]

World War II

Port Minesweeping Officer, Milford Haven.
