Malta Experimental Station
Britain's Malta Experimental Station was established within Malta Dockyard in August, 1917. Malta had been chosen for this station in light of the particular conditions in the Mediterranean for which findings obtained at the Hawkcraig Experimental Station sometimes did not apply.
