Lieutenant-Commander Leslie Stuart Russell, (24 July, 1892 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

In December 1911, Russell participated in a "conversation of a loose & immoral nature in the gunroom mess of Britannia", for which he was deprived of three months' time.

Russell was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 15 December, 1912.[1]

Russell was awarded the Goodenough Medal and the Ronald Megaw Memorial Prize, both for 1912-13.

Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1913.[2]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1921.
