Horace Leslie Vicary

Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Horace Leslie Vicary, D.S.C., R.D. (6 April, 1889 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Vicary was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 October, 1915.[1]

Vicary was appointed in command of the destroyer Locust on 30 March, 1918.[2]

Vicary was demobilised on 25 February 1919, postdated to 8 July.[3]

Vicary was placed on the Retired List owing to non-sea service on 4 August, 1922.[4]

Vicary was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) on 1 October, 1923.[5]

World War II

Mobilised to work in D.E.M.S..
