H.M.S. Pylades was one of seven Satellite Class corvettes completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Re-commissioned at Bermuda on 13 November, 1889.[6]

She was one of twelve obsolete vessels sold at auction at Chatham Dockyard on 3 April, 1906. She fetched £5,900.[7]
