H.M.S. London was one of four London Class cruisers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
London was re-commissioned for trials on 1 January, 1929.[6]
She was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 5 February, 1929 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[7]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 17 June, 1931.[8]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 17 April, 1934 for service with the First Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[9]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 20 January, 1937.[10]
