H.M.S. Hastings was one of five Hastings Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Hastings was commissioned at Devonport on 27 November, 1930.[5]
The ship was re-commissioned on 23 April, 1934.[6]
She re-commissioned at Devonport on 10 May, 1937.[7]
