H.M.S. Doon was one of 36 destroyers of the "River" class.

Service

In 1912, she was in the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla,[8] but by mid-1913, she was with the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla.[9]

In August, 1915 she transferred to the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla with seven other "Rivers". She would remain there the rest of the war.
