Vice-Admiral THE HONOURABLE SIR Guy Herbrand Edward Russell, G.B.E., K.C.B., D.S.O. (14 April, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of The Lord Ampthill.

Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1918.^[1]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1926.^[2]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1931.^[3]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1936.^[4]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 July, 1945.^[5]

Russell was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 October, 1948.^[6]
