Jump to navigationJump to searchCommander R.N.R. (retired) Arnold Octavius Morgan, R.D., R.N.R. (13 January, 1873 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 20 September, 1905.[1]
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 20 September, 1913.[2]
Morgan commanded the armed yacht Zaza in the rank of Acting Commander at some point prior to late 1918.[3]
Morgan commanded the armed yacht Goissa in the rank of Acting Commander until 25 November, 1918. He was then given command of the sweeping sloop Anemone until January 1919.[4]
Morgan was demobilised and promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 18 October, 1919.[5]
World War II
Mobilised and sent to Bermuda.
