...as in a 30 to 40 foot USN gasoline (petrol) engined boat carried by a large vessel-
Hopefully from the WW-once era.
After I found the Naval Architects' Journal's 1896 USN boats, I have become quite adept at tracing lines in CATIA. It helps that most of boats will be on deck under tarps, so they have no interior.
These suffice for the original build (1906), but the 1917 manifestation with the aircraft catapult requires more modern stuff!

I wasn't really ignoring you, I can only log in here at work (CRS problems at home...)
Will look into Google Drive.
ACR-11 project is progressing again. No solution for CATIA replacemnt yet (retirement approaches...)
