Two images of a German torpedoboot-like vessel seemingly bearing bow number 13, which appears to have sustained heavy damage to the bow (collision?)

Features appear to be: pretty small, wheelhouse with 6 or so rectangular windows, smooth break at forecastle with a SMALL elevated cupola as if to hold the forward gun (which may be removed?), other seemingly identical ships have 03 and 06 as bow numbers, single stack (?).

06 appears to be visible here:

Notice how she differs from V-187

I'm pretty certain that this is a pre-war picture - I've never seen a wartime picture where the torpedo boats had those bow numbers.

I've looked into Harald Fock "Schwarze Gesellen" ("Black Fellows") which describes the development of destroyers up to the outbreak of WWI, and looking at a picture in that book I think this is G113 after a collision off Sassnitz Roads on April 23rd, 1912.

Mikemike that sounds pretty convincing! I will update the info in my albums when I figure out how to make the albums work again!
